About the Job
Key responsibilities:1. Perform day-to-day bookkeeping tasks, including managing financial records in accounting software (ZeroBooks, ZohoBooks, Tally)
2. Process and track accounts payable and accounts receivable, ensuring timely payments and collections
3. Assist in preparing and sending invoices to clients, ensuring accuracy and compliance with payment terms
4. Reconcile bank statements and ensure all financial data is accurately entered into accounting software
5. Assist with maintaining an organized record of bills, receipts, and financial documents for audit purposes
6. Support the preparation of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports and statements
7. Collaborate with senior accountants to track cash flow, expenses, and other key financial data
8. Help prepare financial documents for tax filings and compliance checks
7. Assist in the month-end and year-end closing processes, ensuring all transactions are accounted for
8. Perform other bookkeeping and accounting-related tasks as assigned by the team
