Montessori & Early Elementary Teacher Job in Bangalore at Chili Pili

About the Job

We are looking for a dedicated Montessori-trained teacher who can teach children from pre-school to Class 2 and conduct spoken English classes. The role involves nurturing individual learning journeys, fostering curiosity, and helping children develop confidence in communication.

Key responsibilities:

A. Teaching & Learning
1. Deliver Montessori lessons and spoken English sessions as per the school curriculum.
2. Adapt teaching strategies to suit individual learning needs and styles.
3. Prepare and maintain Montessori materials and activity plans.

B. Child Development & Care
1. Ensure the emotional well-being, safety, and comfort of each child.
2. Observe, document, and share progress reports with parents.

C. Collaboration & Communication
1. Work closely with colleagues to align on curriculum delivery.
2. Maintain regular, positive communication with parents.

Outcomes (What Success Looks Like):

1. Deliver Montessori lessons tailored to each child’s pace and developmental stage.
2. Conduct engaging spoken English activities, leading to measurable improvement
in fluency and confidence.
3. Maintain a safe, caring, and stimulating classroom environment.
4. Build positive relationships with parents, providing regular feedback on child's
progress.

Technical Competencies:

1. Understanding and application of Montessori philosophy.
2. Spoken English teaching skills for early learners.
3. Classroom management for mixed-age groups (up to Class 2).

Behavioural Competencies:

1. Warm, friendly, and patient with children.
2. Adaptable to individual learning speeds.
3. Clear and engaging communication skills in English.
4. Collaborate with parents and colleagues.

Work Environment/Setup: On-site, classroom-based role.
5 days a week, as per the school schedule.
