About the Internship
As a UI/UX design intern at Farm Gear Connect, you will work closely with the founder and product team to design simple, intuitive, and farmer-friendly digital experiences for our agri-tech platform. This role is ideal for someone who wants hands-on exposure to real product building, especially for users with low digital literacy. You will contribute to wireframes, user flows, and visual assets that directly impact how farmers and equipment owners interact with the platform.Selected intern's day-to-day responsibilities include:
1. Create low-fidelity and high-fidelity wireframes for mobile app screens based on defined product flows.
2. Design user-friendly interfaces focused on simplicity, clarity, and ease of use for rural users.
3. Work with Figma (and related tools) to build, iterate, and refine app screens and prototypes.
4. Translate product requirements into clear UI screens and interaction flows.
5. Assist in creating basic animations or micro-interactions (optional) to improve usability.
6. Conduct basic user research, usability testing, and feedback analysis to improve designs.
7. Maintain design consistency and follow UI/UX best practices across all screens.
8. Collaborate with the founder and tech team to ensure designs are practical and build-ready.
