About the Internship
Selected intern's day-to-day responsibilities include:A. Design & research:
1. Assist the design team with research and sourcing a wide range of fabrics, trims, and embellishments.
2. Contribute to the conceptual development of a large collection of outfits and a small series of conceptual costumes.
B. Production & technical support:
1. Assist in the production process, ensuring all garments meet the highest standards of quality and design.
2. Assist in communicating with pattern makers and sample rooms to ensure designs are executed accurately.
3. Support the creation of tech packs, including garment specifications, measurements, and construction notes.
C. Studio management:
1. Assist the design team with preparations for final garment delivery and quality checks.
2. Manage and track samples, ensuring all prototypes and finished garments are properly organized and accounted for.
3. Assist in preparing for design meetings and presentations with key stakeholders.
4. Help with general administrative tasks to ensure the studio runs smoothly during this critical period.
