About the Internship
Selected intern's day-to-day responsibilities include:1. Assist in Store Layout Planning – Support senior designers in creating functional and aesthetic floor plans for Pepperfry Studios.
2. Space Optimization – Help in planning layouts that maximize utility while maintaining visual appeal and brand consistency.
3. 2D Drafting – Use tools like AutoCAD and SketchUp to develop design drawings, mockups, and visual representations.
4. Furniture & Display Planning – Assist in curating furniture placement, product zoning, and designing display units as per merchandising strategy.
5. On-Site Measurements & Store Visits – Participate in site surveys and document key measurements or changes.
6. Material & Moodboard Coordination – Prepare sample boards, materials palettes, and suggest finishes aligned with the brand’s aesthetic.
7. Collaborate with Cross-Functional Teams – Work closely with store managers, VM (Visual Merchandising), and execution teams to translate design into reality.
8. Documentation & Reports – Maintain updated records of layouts, store design changes, and assist in creating presentation decks.
9. Learning & Adapting – Demonstrate eagerness to learn from feedback, adapt quickly, and contribute creatively to ongoing projects.
