About the Job
Key responsibilities:1. Oversee and manage all warehouse operations, including receiving, storage, order picking, packing, dispatch, and returns.
2. Maintain accurate inventory records and reduce shrinkage.
3. Plan and optimise warehouse layout, product flow, and storage to improve throughput and reduce handling time.
4. Supervise, train, and coach warehouse staff; create shift rosters and monitor productivity.
5. Ensure orders are processed on time and meet quality/packing standards.
6. Implement and enforce workplace safety, security, and compliance procedures (PPE, SOPs, hazardous goods if applicable).
7. Coordinate with procurement, logistics, and sales teams for stock replenishment and timely deliveries.
8. Manage relationships with 3PLs, carriers, and vendors where applicable and monitor performance/KPIs.
9. Analyse warehouse KPIs (Order accuracy, inventory accuracy, picking rate) and prepare regular reports for management.
10. Drive continuous improvement initiatives — reduce costs, improve turnaround times, and enhance accuracy.
