About the Job
Key Responsibilities:1. Edit raw footage into compelling stories for various formats (short-form, long-form, ads, reels)
2. Work with our creative team to understand the brief of the video.
3. Build scenes, not clips, structure sequences, create emotional arcs, and maintain narrative continuity across long-form projects.
4. Perform detailed editing work including dialogue clean-up, audio layering, sound design, transitions, and visual storytelling.
5. Work on color grade and match shots to maintain visual consistency throughout the film (basic knowledge is acceptable, willingness to learn is essential).
6. Organize and manage large project files including multi-cam footage, multiple audio sources, and complex timelines.
7. Experiment with creative narrative approaches and bring original ideas to elevate the story, not just follow instructions.
8. Maintain high standards of quality-every cut, sound cue, and frame must have a purpose.
9. Work with discipline to meet deadlines without compromising storytelling depth or visual quality. (We are flexible with deliverables but when we have projects on a deadline, those deliverables have to be done as per the client's requirements)
