About the Job
Key Responsibilities:1. Footage review: Assist in reviewing and organizing raw video footage, selecting the best shots for editing based on criteria such as composition, clarity, and narrative coherence.
2. Editing: Use video editing software (e.g., Adobe Premiere Pro, Final Cut Pro) to assemble footage, trim clips, add transitions, overlays, and effects, and ensure seamless continuity between scenes.
3. Color grading: Apply color correction and grading techniques to enhance the overall look and feel of the video, ensuring consistency and visual coherence across all clips.
4. Audio editing: Edit and mix audio tracks, including dialogue, music, and sound effects, to achieve optimal balance and clarity, and synchronize with video footage.
5. Graphics and titles: Create and integrate graphics, text overlays, and titles to provide context, branding, and visual interest, following established style guidelines.
6. File management: Organize and maintain a comprehensive digital asset management system for video files, ensuring proper labeling, storage, and accessibility for future reference.
7. Collaboration: Collaborate closely with videographers, photographers, and other team members throughout the editing process, incorporating feedback and adjustments as needed to achieve the desired outcome.
8. Quality control: Conduct thorough reviews of edited videos to ensure they meet company standards and client expectations in terms of quality, accuracy, and storytelling effectiveness.
