About the Job
Key Responsibilities:A. Video & podcast editing:
1. Edit short- and long-form videos (YouTube, Reels/Shorts, webinars, explainers, testimonials).
2. Edit podcast episodes (basic cleanup, adding intro/outro, simple sound design).
3. Add captions, b-roll, basic transitions, and simple motion graphics.
4. Repurpose long videos/podcasts into short clips for social media.
B. Design & graphics:
1. Design eye-catching thumbnails for YouTube and social platforms.
2. Create social media posts (carousels, quote cards, announcement posts, stories).
3. Maintain visual consistency with the brand style (fonts, colors, logo use).
4. Support in creating basic presentation slides or simple PDFs when needed.
C. Content & collaboration:
1. Work with the marketing/content team to understand the goal of each piece.
2. Suggest creative hooks, text overlays, and formats to improve engagement.
3. Organize and manage raw footage, project files, and asset libraries.
4. Stay updated with trends in social-first content (reels, shorts, TikTok-style edits).
