About the Job
Key responsibilities:A. UAV System Design
1. Design and develop fixed-wing, rotary-wing, or hybrid UAV platforms
2. Select and integrate propulsion systems, airframes, payloads, and flight control systems
B. CAD Modeling & Structural Analysis
1. Create detailed 3D CAD models using SolidWorks, CATIA, or Fusion 360
2. Perform structural and aerodynamic simulations using tools like ANSYS, XFLR5, or a CFD package
C. Prototyping & Testing
1. Oversee fabrication, assembly, and field testing of UAV prototypes
2. Analyze flight data and iterate designs for performance improvement
D. Subsystem Integration
1. Collaborate with electronics, software, and manufacturing teams for seamless integration of flight controllers, sensors, telemetry, and ground control systems
E. Compliance & Documentation
1. Ensure all UAV designs meet DGCA/FAA and other relevant aerospace standards
2. Maintain technical documentation, BOMs, test reports, and revision logs
