About the Job
Key Responsibilities:# 1. In-House Equipment Handling & Repair
Receive, log, and inspect client-returned instrumentation systems/equipment.
Assist in troubleshooting, repair, and testing of equipment under senior engineer supervision.
Maintain proper documentation of repair work, test results, and component usage.
Support inventory management of spares, tools, and consumables related to repair jobs.
# 2. On-Site Installation, Commissioning & Support
Travel to client locations for installation, commissioning, calibration, and preventive maintenance of instrumentation & control systems.
Provide on-site troubleshooting and corrective maintenance.
Conduct basic user training for clients on equipment usage, safety, and routine maintenance. Prepare simple service/installation reports after each site visit.
# 3. Remote Customer Support
Respond to client queries through email, WhatsApp, or phone professionally.
Assist in diagnosing problems remotely and guide clients on corrective actions.
Escalate complex technical issues to senior engineers or product specialists where needed.
Maintain customer interaction logs for traceability and follow-up.
# 4. Learning & Development (for Trainee role)
Participate in product and application training sessions conducted internally or by OEM partners.
Develop hands-on skills in troubleshooting, calibration, and application engineering.
Gradually take ownership of service assignments with mentoring and guidance.
