About the Job
Key responsibilities:1. Initiate outbound calls to potential and existing customers to promote products or services.
2. Handle inbound calls, answering customer questions, and resolving complaints or issues.
3. Explain product features, benefits, and pricing to generate interest and close sales.
4. Maintain accurate records of customer interactions in a CRM system.
5. Follow up on leads to convert prospects into customers.
6. Achieve daily and weekly call targets and sales goals.
7. Adhere to scripts and company policies while maintaining a professional demeanor.
8. Gather and relay customer feedback to relevant departments.
Required skills and qualifications:
Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Strong persuasion and negotiation abilities.
Ability to work under pressure and handle rejection.
Proficiency with CRM software and basic computer skills.
Strong organizational and time management skills.
A high school diploma or equivalent; a degree is often a plus.
Proven experience in a telemarketing or call center role.
Ability to work effectively both individually and as part of a team.
Preferred skills and qualifications:
Previous experience in a similar sales or customer service role.
Familiarity with specific industry knowledge, such as real estate or educational counseling.
Ability to switch communication styles based on customer cues.
Research skills for finding new leads and understanding customer needs.
