The Strategic Analyst is a dynamic, entry-level role within the CEO’s office at Tex Fasteners, designed to support strategic initiatives critical to the company’s growth. The role involves coordinating with teams across India, Bangladesh, and Vietnam to gather data, preparing high-impact presentations for board meetings and monthly reviews, and generating actionable business insights with a strong financial perspective to keep senior management informed. The ideal candidate is proficient in problem-solving and data analysis, demonstrates strong financial acumen, and is eager to drive results in a fast-paced, global manufacturing environment.
Key Responsibilities
Data Management & Analysis:
Manage and maintain data integrity within the systems, ensuring accurate and consistent data across modules.
Develop and implement data migration strategies for seamless integration of legacy data int
Create custom reports, dashboards, and analytics using Odoo’s reporting tools to support business decision-making.
Analyze data to identify trends, inefficiencies, and opportunities for process improvement.
Ensure compliance with data security and privacy standards.
Data Coordination: Collaborate with cross-functional teams (e.g., sales, marketing, production, and finance) across India, Bangladesh, and Vietnam to collect accurate and timely data for strategic and financial analysis, ensuring alignment with Tex’s objectives.
Presentation Development: Create clear, compelling, and data-driven presentations for board meetings and monthly reviews, integrating financial metrics (e.g., revenue, margins, cost structures) and operational insights for senior leadership, including the CEO and Director.
Business Insights Generation: Analyze data to produce actionable insights on sales performance, customer segmentation, operational efficiency, and financial performance, ensuring senior management is equipped with robust financial and strategic updates.
Problem-Solving: Address ad-hoc challenges, such as cost inefficiencies, operational bottlenecks, or customer escalations, by leveraging financial acumen and analytical skills to propose solutions that support Tex’s strategic priorities.
Project Support: Assist in managing high-priority projects, such as factory audits, sustainability initiatives, or customer dashboard implementation, incorporating financial analysis to track progress and optimize outcomes.
Stakeholder Communication: Act as a liaison between the CEO’s office and functional heads (e.g., sales, marketing, production, and finance) to ensure seamless information flow and alignment with Tex’s vision.
Continuous Improvement: Proactively identify opportunities to enhance data processes, streamline financial reporting, and support Tex’s commitment to operational excellence and sustainability.
Qualifications
Education: Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, Economics, Data Analytics, or a related field (or equivalent experience) with good understanding of basic financial and accounting concepts.
Experience: 0-2 years of work experience; internships or projects in financial analysis, data analysis, project coordination, or business operations, preferably in manufacturing or fashion retail, are a plus.
Skills:
Strong financial acumen, with proficiency in analyzing financial metrics (e.g., revenue, margins, cost analysis, budgeting, and forecasting) and understanding financial statements.
Proficiency in data analysis tools (e.g., Excel, Google Sheets; familiarity with Python, R, or BI tools like Tableau is a plus).
Strong presentation skills, with experience in PowerPoint or similar tools to create board-level deliverables incorporating financial insights.
Excellent problem-solving and critical-thinking abilities, with a knack for addressing complex challenges using financial and analytical approaches.
Strong organizational and multitasking skills, with keen attention to detail.
Effective communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate with diverse teams across global units.
