About the role:We are looking for a Social Media Executive who understands the Indian political scenario and can actively contribute to enhancing the online image of a political leader. The role involves daily content creation, posting, and managing engagement across all social media platforms.
Key responsibilities:
1. Assist in planning and executing daily social media activities.
2. Create engaging posts, reels, captions, and stories highlighting the leader’s initiatives, views, and activities.
3. Monitor political trends, news updates, and public sentiment to create relevant and timely content.
4. Manage pages on Instagram, X (Twitter), Facebook, YouTube, and WhatsApp.
5. Coordinate with the design and video editing team for creative content.
6. Track engagement metrics and prepare basic performance reports.
7. Respond to public comments and messages in a professional and political context.
8. Support campaign launches and digital events.
Requirements:
Bachelor’s degree in Mass Communication, Journalism, Political Science, or related field.
1–3 years of experience in social media management, preferably in political, news, or public domain sectors.
Strong awareness of current affairs, Indian politics, and social media trends.
Good command of English and Hindi (regional language knowledge is a plus).
Basic understanding of social media tools (Meta Business Suite, Twitter Analytics, Canva, etc.).
Creative mindset with interest in political communication and storytelling.
