About the Job
Key Responsibilities:1. End-to-end video editing: Edit high-quality videos for social media, YouTube, ads, reels, and brand films. Handle complete post-production: cutting, sequencing, transitions, color correction, sound design, and exporting in required formats.
2. Trend-based content editing: Stay updated with the latest editing trends, reel formats, transitions, sound effects, and viral content styles. Apply trending techniques in storytelling, pacing, and transitions to make content fresh and engaging.
3. Creative storytelling: Transform raw footage into crisp, compelling stories. Add creative direction, mood, and emotion through music, pacing, and visual flow.
4. Advanced editing techniques: Use masking, rotoscoping, speed ramping, stabilization, match cuts, motion tracking, and multi-layer editing confidently. Create smooth and seamless transitions that elevate the final output.
5. Visual effects & motion graphics: Add titles, lower-thirds, logo animations, graphical elements, and creative overlays. Work with After Effects/Premiere Pro/Final Cut to build visually appealing motion graphics when required.
6. Sound design & audio enhancement: Enhance audio quality using noise reduction, EQ, and clean transitions. Sync visuals with music beats for high-impact videos.
7. Brand consistency: Edit videos that align with the brand’s tone, color palette, and visual identity. Maintain consistent quality and style across all project outputs.
8. Creative input & concept development: Work with marketing/content teams to brainstorm concepts, shot lists, and edit styles. Suggest fresh ideas, transitions, and creative formats proactively.
9. Fast turnaround & smart workflow: Deliver quick edits without compromising quality. Follow clean project organization, naming conventions, and backup processes.
10. Multi-platform optimization: Edit platform-specific versions of the same video (Reels, Shorts, YouTube, Stories, etc.). Optimize aspect ratios, resolution, and pacing based on the target platform.
11. Collaboration & communication: Coordinate with content creators, cinematographers, and clients to understand requirements. Give input during shoots about angles, framing, and shots that can help in editing.
12. Quality control: Review final cuts for errors, continuity, and audio-sync issues. Ensure all technical specifications and brand guidelines are met.
