About the Job
Key responsibilities:A. Sales and Client Engagement
1. Respond promptly to client inquiries through email, phone, and online channels.
2. Design and sell customised wildlife and eco-tourism itineraries based on client interests, budgets, and preferences.
3. Prepare detailed quotations, proposals, and travel packages for domestic and international wildlife destinations.
4. Maintain strong client relationships to encourage repeat business and referrals.
5. Deliver exceptional customer service throughout the sales and travel process.
B. Operations and Coordination
1. Confirm and manage bookings with lodges, safari camps, guides, and transport providers.
2. Coordinate park permits, safaris, transfers, and field activities.
3. Ensure all travel documents, vouchers, and itineraries are accurate and delivered on time.
4. Liaise with on-ground teams to ensure smooth tour execution and resolve issues.
5. Gather and analyse post-tour feedback for service improvements.
C. Product Knowledge and Development
1. Research and develop new wildlife products while improving existing itineraries.
2. Analyse competitors and customer preferences to recommend product enhancements.
3. Create ready reckoners with updated and accurate content for sales and marketing teams.
4. Work on rate sheets to ensure competitive and well-structured pricing strategies.
5. Design and manage SIC (Seat-in-Coach) tours, negotiating with suppliers for cost-effective and high-quality experiences.
D. Vendor Management
1. Identify and build relationships with new vendors and partners.
2. Negotiate contracts and service-level agreements covering pricing, deliverables, and quality standards.
3. Define and monitor KPIs to evaluate vendor performance.
4. Maintain a database of reliable suppliers and ensure consistent service quality.
E. Marketing and Content Support
1. Collaborate with the marketing team to create wildlife-focused content for brochures, blogs, and social media.
2. Provide destination insights and travel tips for marketing campaigns.
3. Support participation in travel fairs, exhibitions, and webinars.
4. Build a content bank of photos, videos, and articles from operated tours and wildlife experiences.
