About the Job
Key responsibilities:1. Develop mechanical concepts, mechanisms, and assemblies for a compact, human-interactive device.
2. Participate in brainstorming sessions to generate and evaluate design ideas and kinematic mechanisms.
3. Create detailed 3D CAD models and 2D drawings for fabrication and assembly.
4. Perform simulations and FEA for structural integrity, motion, and ergonomics.
5. Select appropriate materials, manufacturing processes, and design for manufacturability (DFM).
6. Collaborate with electronics and software teams for system integration.
7. Build and test physical prototypes to validate design performance.
8. Document design iterations, test results, and production recommendations.
