About the Job
We are seeking a dynamic and experienced senior accountant to join our team at LEX N TAX ASSOCIATES! If you are a detail-oriented individual with a strong knowledge of accounting, GST, statutory compliance, Tally, and MS Excel, this is the perfect opportunity for you.Key Responsibilities:
1. Handle day-to-day accounting entries, including sales, purchases, expenses, bank transactions, and ledger maintenance in accounting software
2. Prepare and file monthly and quarterly GST returns such as GSTR-1 and GSTR-3B, and perform regular GST reconciliations with books and GSTR-2B
3. Prepare and file annual GST returns including GSTR-9 and GSTR-9C, and assist in resolving discrepancies identified during annual reconciliation
4. Manage ROC and MCA compliances under the Companies Act, 2013, including preparation and timely filing of statutory forms
5. File ROC forms such as AOC-4, MGT-7, MGT-14, DIR-3 KYC, and other applicable INC forms within statutory timelines
6. Handle LLP compliances, including preparation and filing of LLP annual returns and event-based forms
7. Maintain statutory registers, board resolutions, minutes, and compliance documentation as per regulatory requirements
8. Work on the MCA portal for filings, track form status, handle resubmissions, and manage DSC and DIN-related activities
9. Maintain a compliance calendar, monitor statutory due dates, and ensure timely completion of all regulatory filings
10. Assist in handling notices from tax or regulatory authorities and support internal or external audits by providing required documents and explanations
