About the Job
As a counselor, you will support the admissions team by engaging with prospective families, understanding their needs, and communicating LIT School’s unique value proposition. You’ll be the first voice many families hear, and your ability to connect, listen, and inform will play a critical role in guiding them through the admissions journey.Key Responsibilities:
A. Parent engagement:
1. Initiate first-level calls with leads to understand their needs and introduce them to LIT School.
2. Communicate key information about our programs, curriculum, and admission process.
3. Handle basic objections, route deeper questions to Senior Counsellors or Pod Heads.
B. Lead nurturing & coordination:
1. Follow up with leads via calls, emails, or WhatsApp as per defined schedules.
2. Keep CRM updated with lead notes, status, and call outcomes.
3. Help walk-ins as needed.
C. Sales support:
1. Assist the pod in achieving its overall admissions target.
2. Track personal engagement metrics (calls made, follow-ups done, conversions supported).
3. Learn best practices in counseling and sales from team members.
