About the Job
A Tour Buddy accompanies travelers or tour groups to ensure a safe, enjoyable, and well-organized experience. The role involves providing local insights, assisting with logistics, and creating a friendly and supportive atmosphere throughout the trip.Key Responsibilities:
1. Accompany travelers or small groups on tours, day trips, or multi-day journeys.
2. Ensure guests are comfortable, informed, and engaged throughout the trip.
3. Assist with check-ins, transfers, and activity coordination.
4. Provide basic commentary or fun facts about destinations (optional, if not led by a guide).
5. Help capture photos/videos for travelers upon request.
6. Manage group coordination and timing to keep itineraries on schedule.
7. Resolve minor issues or communicate with tour operators in case of delays or changes.
8. Ensure guest safety and adherence to tour guidelines.
9. Promote a positive, friendly atmosphere among travelers.
Work Environment:
1. Frequent travel (domestic or international).
2. Flexible working hours — may include weekends or holidays.
3. Works closely with tour operators, guides, and travelers.
