Responsibilities:1. Design Delivery Timelines: Projects must be delivered within agreed timelines. – Plan and track each design phase using project management tools. Be proactive in sharing delays.
2. Client Satisfaction (Quality): Positive feedback from clients on creativity, layout, and functionality. – Present thoughtful, well-structured concepts. Be responsive to feedback.
3. Technical Accuracy: Drawings and documentation should be accurate and execution-ready. – Ensure BOQs, CAD drawings, and technical details are checked and updated.
4. Creative Input: Quality and variety of design ideas, materials, and styles shared per project. – Provide 2–3 creative directions or options. Keep up with latest trends.
5. Team Coordination: Ability to collaborate well with 3D artists, procurement, and execution teams. – Maintain open communication. Respond to team requests promptly.
6. Project Ownership: End-to-end handling of design, documentation, and client coordination. – Own assigned projects fully. Update team leads regularly.
7. Tool Proficiency & Documentation: Efficient and accurate use of design tools, maintaining standards. – Deliver all working files in organized folders. Use checklists/SOPs.
8.Team Leadership: Lead and mentor team members, fostering collaboration, performance improvement, and professional growth within the team.
Skills & Qualification:
1.Technical Skills: Expertise in 3D software (SketchUp, 3ds Max, V-Ray, Corona, lumion, Canva, Photoshop or similar), In-depth knowledge of FF&E selection and procurement processes.
2. Ownership: Ability to work independently, manage multiple remote projects, and meet deadlines.
3. Education: Bachelor’s degree in Interior Design. (required)
4. Communication Skills: Ability to articulate design concepts and ideas clearly and persuasively to clients and team members, Excellent project management and client communication skills, Must be fluent in English with strong verbal and written communication abilities.
5. Empathy and Client Understanding: Skilled in understanding and addressing client needs and preferences to build strong client relationships.
6. Creativity and Innovation: Strong creative thinking skills to generate fresh, original design ideas that meet clients’ aesthetic and functional needs, Experience in creating compelling moodboards and presentation documents, Strong understanding of color theory, spatial planning, and material selection, Strong proficiency in space planning, layout design, and construction detailing.
7. Problem-Solving: Capable of identifying challenges in design execution and proposing practical, innovative solutions, Knowledge of building codes, SOPs, regulations, and standards relevant to interior design.
8. Adaptability: Ability to adjust design plans and approaches based on client feedback, changing trends, or unforeseen project developments.
9.Time Management: Strong organizational skills to manage multiple projects, prioritize tasks, and meet deadlines effectively, Experience with project management software (e.g., zoho) for tracking project timelines and deliverables.
10. Team Collaboration: Comfortable working with diverse teams, including architects, engineers, and contractors, to ensure a cohesive project approach.
11. Attention to Detail: A meticulous approach to design elements, ensuring accuracy in every phase from planning to execution.
12. Emotional Intelligence: Ability to remain composed, handle feedback constructively, and work harmoniously within a creative environment.
Experience:
Minimum 2+ years of professional experience in the interior design industry. (Mandatory)
