About the Job
Key Responsibilities:1. Assisting with compliance: Help ensure the company complies with relevant laws (e.g., Companies Act). Prepare and maintain statutory registers (e.g., register of members, directors, etc.).
2. Board & committee support: Assist in organizing board and committee meetings. Help draft agendas, notices, and minutes under supervision.
3. Filing & documentation: Assist in preparing and filing forms with the Registrar of Companies (ROC) or relevant authorities (like the MCA21 portal in India). Maintain proper documentation of resolutions, meeting minutes, and legal records.
4. Corporate governance: Support in implementing good governance practices. Ensure board members are aware of their legal responsibilities.
5. Shareholder communication: Assist in handling shareholder queries. Help prepare for Annual General Meetings (AGMs) or Extraordinary General Meetings (EGMs).
6. Liaison & coordination: Liaise with regulators, legal advisors, auditors, and internal departments. Support communication with government bodies (e.g., SEBI, stock exchanges, if applicable).
7. Routine administrative tasks: Data entry, record-keeping, and updating compliance trackers. Drafting basic letters, reports, and internal communications.
