About the Job
We’re hiring: Backend engineer (Node/NestJS, NATS JetStream) for building a multi-tenant AI platform. We are looking for a responsible developer with a head on his shoulder very high integrity self-learner who loves to code and is excited about bringing real ideas into life.Key Responsibilities:
1. Build a durable messaging system using JetStream consumers with explicit acknowledgments, backoff strategies, and dead-letter queues
2. Develop advanced AI RAG features with pgvector including chunking, embedding pipelines, HNSW, and similarity search
3. Implement streaming chat functionality using WebSocket or SSE for real-time aggregation
4. Set up observability using OpenTelemetry, Prometheus, and Grafana for monitoring and performance tracking
5. Integrate connections with external APIs and tools to enhance platform capabilities
6. Configure CI/CD pipelines using GitHub Actions, Docker, AWS ECS, and Fargate for efficient deployment
