About the Job
Key responsibilities:1. Plan and deliver developmentally appropriate lessons and activities that promote early childhood education and school readiness.
2. Create a stimulating and safe classroom environment that encourages active learning.
3. Incorporate play-based and hands-on learning experiences.
4. Establish and maintain routines to ensure a smooth daily schedule.
5. Manage behavior and resolve conflicts using positive and effective strategies.
6. Foster a nurturing and inclusive classroom atmosphere.
7. Observe and assess children’s development and progress.
8. Maintain accurate records and documentation of student achievements and behaviour.
9. Prepare and share progress reports and feedback with parents.
10. Build positive and open relationships with parents and guardians.
11. Conduct parent-teacher conferences and meetings to discuss children’s development.
12. Keep parents informed about classroom activities and events.
13. Ensure the safety and well-being of all children in the classroom.
14. Follow health and safety procedures, including emergency drills.
15. Administer basic first aid when necessary.
16. Stay current with early childhood education best practices and trends.
17. Participate in professional development opportunities and training.
18. Collaborate with colleagues and contribute to program improvement.
Skills and Specification:
1. Graduate, NTT, or any teacher training course/diploma, or at least 1 year of experience in a preschool.
2. Age should be 19 years or above.
3. English fluency:
4. Reading: Able to read and understand activities.
5. Writing: Able to write child observations.
6. Speaking: Able to communicate with parents and children.
