Content Creator – Politics & Current AffairsWe are seeking a creative, politically aware Content Creator who can research, interpret, and present political and current affairs content in engaging and accessible formats. This role involves end-to-end content creation, platform-wise publishing and distribution, basic content strategy development, and performance tracking across digital platforms.
The ideal candidate has a strong interest in politics and current affairs, along with an academic background or ongoing studies in journalism, political science, or a related field.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Develop story-driven content that simplifies complex political and public policy issues for digital audiences
2. Write compelling captions, hooks, and short scripts tailored for social media platforms
3. Design visually engaging posters, creatives, and thumbnails
4. Record, clip, curate, and manage photo and video content
5. Edit photos and videos optimised for social media and digital platforms
6. Publish and distribute content across all major social media channels to maximise reach and engagement
7. Build and execute platform-specific content strategies for Instagram, YouTube, X (Twitter), and other platforms
8. Track performance metrics, analyse audience insights, and prepare analytics and performance reports
9. Maintain factual accuracy, ethical standards, and responsible political communication in all content
10. Research, monitor, and identify relevant political developments and current affairs topics
