About the Job
Key responsibilities:1. Assist in maintaining accurate books of accounts (journal entries, ledgers, vouchers, etc.).
2. Support in preparing invoices, bills, and payment receipts.
3. Record daily business transactions in accounting software (e.g., Tally, QuickBooks, Zoho Books).
4. Handle bank reconciliations and petty cash management.
5. Assist in GST, TDS, and other statutory compliance-related documentation.
6. Support the Senior Accountant in preparing monthly and annual financial statements.
7. Maintain vendor and customer ledgers and follow up on pending payments.
8. Help in audit preparations by organizing and providing the required financial data.
9. Ensure timely filing and documentation of accounting records.
10. Coordinate with internal departments for billing, expense tracking, and reimbursement records.
