About the Job
Key responsibilities:1. Assist in production operations, including setup, monitoring, and optimization of steel strapping manufacturing lines.
2. Support machine maintenance activities—routine checks, preventive maintenance, and troubleshooting of mechanical and electrical issues.
3. Learn and apply quality control procedures, including tensile strength testing, dimensional inspection, surface finish evaluation, and packaging standards.
4. Collaborate with senior engineers to implement process improvements aimed at increasing efficiency, reducing waste, and enhancing product quality.
5. Collect and analyze production data to identify bottlenecks and recommend corrective actions.
6. Participate in safety and operational training programs to ensure compliance with company and industry standards.
7. Assist in the installation and commissioning of new machinery or technology upgrades.
8. Prepare technical documentation, reports, and standard operating procedures (SOPs).
