About the Job
About the role:We are looking for a people & operations lead who can run the operational rhythm of the company — hiring pipeline, onboarding/offboarding flows, people communication, attendance/payroll coordination, and internal processes — so the founders can focus on product direction and strategic work. This is a hands-on execution + coordination role, not administrative assistance. You will own processes, drive clarity, and keep the company moving smoothly.
Key responsibilities:
A. People & HR operations:
1. Maintain a structured hiring pipeline and coordinate interviews/offers.
2. Run onboarding + exit workflows end-to-end.
3. Handle payroll inputs, attendance & basic statutory records (PF/UAN/ESIC).
4. Maintain clean employee documentation & internal communication.
B. Company operating rhythm:
1. Run weekly check-ins, reminders, nudges, and follow-throughs.
2. Keep tasks moving across functions without needing founder intervention.
3. Coordinate internal events, townhalls, updates, and rituals.
C. Policy & process improvement:
1. Maintain and improve SOPs and internal playbooks.
2. Identify friction → simplify → systematize.
D. Tools/administration/vendor coordination:
1. Manage subscriptions, tools, laptop/asset registry, and small admin tasks.
E. Success looks like:
1. Founders are not involved in scheduling, onboarding, payroll follow-ups, or routine internal coordination.
2. People know what to do, when, and who to check with.
3. The company feels organized, calm, and predictable.
