Vela is an AI scheduling agent that books, reschedules, and follows up on meetings across email, SMS, and WhatsApp—ensuring busy professionals never have to manually schedule again. It merges calendars, proposes real options, and handles all back-and-forth automatically. We are a VC-funded AI startup ($2M secured) building the coordination layer for how modern professionals schedule meetings.

We are hiring a highly driven Founders' Associate (IIT graduates preferred) to work directly with the founders. This is a generalist role where you will operate at the intersection of product, tech, operations, and growth. If you thrive on ownership, speed, ambiguity, and solving 0-1 problems, this role is for you.

Key responsibilities:

1. Working side-by-side with founders on high-impact product and tech initiatives
2. Translating user feedback into product specs and rapid experiments
3. Diving into analytics, funnels, and usage patterns to recommend improvements
4. Coordinating with engineers and optionally contributing hands-on if you can code
5. Owning mission-critical projects end-to-end (features, tools, GTM experiments)
6. Building and improving internal processes as the team scales
7. Setting up dashboards, tracking systems, and basic automations
8. Collaborating with early users (executives, EAs, busy professionals) to understand workflows
9. Supporting onboarding, demos, customer success, and case studies
10. Running fast experiments across outreach, communities, and partnerships
11. Preparing materials for investors, partners, and key hires
12. Researching markets, competitors, and AI product opportunities
13. Acting as a force multiplier and right-hand to the founders on weekly priorities
