About the Job
Key Responsibilities:A. Accounting and Bookkeeping
1. Maintain accurate and up-to-date financial records using Tally Prime and Zoho.
2. Process invoices, payments, receipts, and other accounting entries.
3. Reconcile accounts and bank statements.
4. Prepare journal entries and balance sheet reconciliation.
B. GST and TDS Returns
1. Prepare and file GST returns (GSTR-1, GSTR-3B, and other applicable returns).
2. Calculate and prepare TDS returns, ensuring timely filing and compliance.
3. Liaise with tax authorities regarding GST and TDS-related queries.
C. Excel and Google Sheets Reporting
1. Prepare financial reports, summaries, and analyses.
2. Create and manage spreadsheets to track transactions, budgets, and financial data.
D. Software Proficiency
1. Use Tally Prime for day-to-day accounting tasks and generating financial statements.
2. Use Zoho for managing accounting functions and collaborating with the team.
E. Basic Finance Knowledge
1. Assist in month-end and year-end closing processes.
2. Ensure compliance with financial regulations and standards.
3. Support auditing activities and preparation of financial statements.
