About the Job
Key Responsibilities:1. Lead follow-up & customer engagement: Attend and pursue leads delegated via backend team or portals (Indiamart, LinkedIn, etc.). Conduct on-site client meetings across industries (power, cement, steel, mining, etc.). Understand client applications, usage, plant environment, and pain points.
2. Technical consultation & application mapping: Fill out the application assessment sheets & questionnaire checklist. Collect layout drawings, product specs, photographs, and relevant site inputs. Provide preliminary guidance to the design/proposal team to initiate solution design.
3. Proposal coordination: Act as the bridge between the client and the backend proposal team. Present proposals, explain BOQ items, and clarify technical points. Maintain records of changes in requirements and versioning of offers.
4. Negotiation & closure: Negotiate commercial terms, payment structures, and lead closure discussions. Align pricing with the sales manager and handle re-quoting if required. Finalise order and coordinate for documentation handover.
5. Reporting & documentation: Submit visit reports and MoM within 24 hours (as per report checklist). Maintain client interaction logs, negotiation history, and progress dashboards. Keep the CRM team informed of all updates and status changes.
