About the Job
Key Responsibilities:1. Strategy and Planning
1. Collaborate with the marketing team to define and implement the overall email marketing strategy aligned with business goals such as lead generation and customer retention.
2. Develop and manage the email marketing calendar for newsletters, promotions, and automated sequences.
3. Define and maintain audience segments based on demographics, purchase history, and user behavior for targeted messaging.
4. Set and track measurable KPIs like open rate, CTR, conversion rate, and ROI for all campaigns.
2. Content Creation and Design
1. Write engaging and persuasive copy for subject lines, preheaders, email bodies, and CTAs.
2. Design or oversee visually appealing, mobile-responsive email templates using tools like Mailchimp, HubSpot, or basic HTML/CSS.
3. Ensure all email content aligns with brand tone, visual identity, and communication standards.
3. Campaign Execution and Automation
1. Build, configure, and deploy email campaigns through Email Service Providers (ESPs).
2. Conduct A/B tests on subject lines, send times, content, and CTAs to optimize results.
3. Set up and manage automated workflows such as welcome series, abandoned cart reminders, and post-purchase campaigns.
4. Maintain subscriber list hygiene by cleaning data, managing opt-outs, and handling bounces regularly.
4. Analysis, Reporting, and Optimization
1. Track and analyze key metrics including deliverability, open rate, CTR, and conversions.
2. Generate detailed performance reports and share insights and recommendations for improving campaign ROI.
3. Continuously refine email strategies based on test outcomes and analytics to enhance engagement and conversion.
5. Compliance and Deliverability
1. Ensure all campaigns comply with global email marketing regulations like GDPR and CAN-SPAM.
2. Monitor and manage technical configurations such as SPF, DKIM, and DMARC for optimal deliverability and sender reputation.
