About the Job
The dispatch manager oversees and coordinates all dispatch operations to ensure efficient scheduling, timely service delivery, and high levels of customer satisfaction. This role manages dispatch staff, monitors workflow, and collaborates closely with drivers, technicians, customer service, and management to maintain smooth operations.Key Responsibilities:
1. Lead and supervise the dispatch team, including scheduling, training, performance evaluations, and daily support.
2. Monitor real-time operations, adjusting schedules or assignments as needed to handle delays, emergencies, or last-minute requests.
3. Coordinate communication between customers, drivers/technicians, and internal departments to ensure accurate and timely updates.
4. Track KPIs such as on-time performance, response times, workload balance, and productivity.
5. Oversee dispatch via Delhivery and other courier companies.
6. Prepare reports for leadership outlining performance metrics, staffing needs, and operational challenges.
