About the Job
Key Responsibilities:A. CI/CD pipeline management:
1. Build, manage and optimize CI/CD pipelines using tools like Jenkins, GitLab CI, GitHub Actions, Azure DevOps.
2. Automate deployment processes for faster and error-free releases.
3. Integrate testing, security and monitoring in the pipeline.
B. Cloud infrastructure management:
1. Deploy and manage cloud infrastructure on AWS/Azure/GCP.
2. Manage EC2, S3, Lambda, VPC, IAM, Load Balancers, RDS, Kubernetes clusters (as applicable).
C. Containerization & orchestration:
1. Work on Docker containerization and building images.
2. Manage Kubernetes clusters (EKS/AKS/GKE).
3. Implement service deployments, scaling, rollbacks, and cluster monitoring.
D. Automation & scripting:
1. Use automation tools like Ansible, Terraform, and CloudFormation.
2. Write automation scripts using Bash/Python/Shell.
3. Infrastructure as Code (IaC) implementation and management.
E. Monitoring & logging:
Implement monitoring using Prometheus, Grafana, CloudWatch, ELK stack, Datadog, and New Relic.
Ensure system uptime, performance tracking, and proactive issue resolution.
Set up log management and alerting systems.
F. Security & compliance:
1. Manage cloud access control, IAM policies, and secrets management.
2. Ensure compliance with security standards and perform vulnerability assessments.
3. Implement DevSecOps best practices into pipelines.
G. Backup & disaster recovery:
1. Configure automated backup strategies for infrastructure.
2. Create DR plans, failover mechanisms, data retention, and restoration workflows.
H. Collaboration & documentation:
1. Work closely with development, testing, and product teams.
2. Document infrastructure, architectures, and deployment processes.
3. Participate in sprint planning and project discussions.
