About the Job

Key Responsibilities:

1. Following up shipments from start to end till they reach at destination.
2. Keeping updates of container gate in, vessel sailing, & Transhipment loadings 
3. Updating VGM, FORM-13 & SB on ODEX/MMD3/CARGOES
4. Updating the shipments tracking to the shipper/overseas agents
5. Handling LCL, FCL & buyer consoles shipments.
6. Maintaining DSR & updating clients/overseas agents daily.
7. Handling freehand as well as Nomination shipment.
8. Tracking the Shipment till it reaches to destination & informing delay/early reaching of the consignment to the customer with the reason.
9. Filling Load List & Shipping instructions to the relevant carriers before the prior cut-off.
10. Preparing House BL and filling MBL to the relevant carriers.
11. Follow up with CHA for Clearance, stuffing, and Documents handover.
12. Sending manifests to overseas agents.
13. Coordinating with the shipping line for booking and HAZ-approval.
14. Coordinating with the transporter for cargo status/container pickup and the CFS person for cargo/container status and planning.
15. Updating carrier payment RTGS on the carrier portal.
16. Updating software daily, such as Departure date from POL, Arrival date at POD, Transshipment details, connecting vessel from transshipment ports, Container loading details, etc. For forwarding shipment, proper updating to customer regarding vessel cut-off, departure details & Eta at destination for all FCL & LCL shipments. Also, in case of any issue such as Form-13 issue, Pre-gate in process, SSR permission, VIA permission - help customer to Gate-in container for planned vessel by making continuous follow-up with line & Co-loader.
17. Keep updating ourselves as well as customers regarding changes in carrier rules & policy, such as vanning for Haz cargo for MSC booking, one-time SI submission of HAPAG LLOYD, etc.
18. Maintaining proper records for all additional costs incurred apart from the quotation in shipment, such as additional insurance to the customer, E-ctn certificate, Isf filling, additional lashing chocking, fumigation, palletization, etc.
19. Calling customers daily to ensure good relations with them and to ensure long-term benefit for organizations.
