About the Job
Key responsibilities:1. Identify, qualify, and cold-call commercial clients (e.g., offices, hotels, educational institutions, healthcare facilities, apartment developers).
2. Actively network and build relationships with key influencers, including Architects, Interior Designers, and General Contractors.
3. Attend industry trade shows, networking events, and client meetings to generate new leads and market intelligence.
4. Conduct in-depth meetings with business clients to understand their functional needs, design intent, budget, and project timelines.
5. Develop and present tailored furniture proposals, including space planning concepts, product specifications, material samples, and detailed quotes for high-volume orders
6. Act as the project liaison, ensuring the furniture solution aligns with regulatory requirements
7. Manage the full sales cycle from initial contact to final installation, coordinating across internal teams (design, production, logistics).
8. Prepare and negotiate complex contracts, pricing, payment terms, and delivery schedules to maximize profitability.
9. Cultivate long-term relationships with key accounts to secure repeat business and referrals—the B2B lifeblood.
10. Maintain current knowledge of commercial furniture industry trends, competitor activities, and new products.
11. Utilise CRM software diligently to manage the sales pipeline, forecast revenue, and track account activity.
