About the Job
Key responsibilities:A. Lead generation and prospecting:
1. Identify and generate new business leads through various channels, including cold calling, email campaigns, social media, networking, and attending industry events.
2. Research and identify potential clients in need of web development services, including custom websites, e-commerce platforms, SEO, and digital marketing.
3. Build and maintain a strong pipeline of qualified leads to ensure consistent sales activity.
B. Sales presentations and client engagement:
1. Conduct effective sales presentations and product demos to potential clients, showcasing the company’s web development offerings.
2. Understand client needs and requirements to recommend tailored web development solutions that align with their business goals.
3. Answer client questions and address concerns throughout the sales process, providing clarity and expert advice on the web development process.
C. Sales negotiation and closing:
1. Negotiate pricing, terms, and contracts with prospective clients to close sales.
2. Work with internal teams (designers, developers, project managers) to ensure the proposed solution is feasible and aligns with client expectations.
3. Close deals and convert prospects into long-term clients while ensuring a smooth transition to the delivery team for project initiation.
D. Client relationship management:
Build and maintain strong, long-lasting relationships with clients by providing exceptional service, follow-up, and regular communication.
Ensure customer satisfaction by addressing any post-sale inquiries and working with the project team to ensure the project meets client expectations.
E. Sales reporting and Documentation:
1. Maintain an up-to-date CRM system to track leads, prospects, and sales activities.
2. Prepare and submit weekly or monthly reports on sales activities, progress towards targets, and forecasts to the Sales Manager or Director.
3. Monitor sales metrics such as conversion rates, deal size, and sales cycle duration to continually improve performance.
F. Market and competitor analysis:
1. Stay informed about industry trends, competitor offerings, and emerging technologies to help identify new sales opportunities.
2. Communicate market insights to the team to assist in the development of more effective sales strategies.
G. Collaboration with marketing:
1. Work closely with the marketing team to support promotional campaigns, generate leads, and ensure alignment between sales and marketing strategies.
2. Provide feedback on sales materials and marketing collateral based on client interactions.
