Job title: Collection Executive for Debt Recovery PositionSummary: We are seeking a skilled and results-oriented Collection Executive to join our team and support our debt recovery efforts. As a Collection Executive, you will be responsible for contacting individuals and businesses with outstanding debts and ensuring the timely recovery of overdue payments. Your ability to communicate effectively, maintain a professional demeanor, and ensure 100% collection.
Key responsibilities:
1. Contact debtors via phone, email, or in person to initiate collection activities and discuss outstanding debts.
2. Establish effective communication channels to maintain contact with debtors, ensuring timely follow-up on payment commitments.
3. Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of all collection activities, including contact details, payment commitments, and conversations with debtors.
4. Monitor and track payment schedules, ensuring adherence to the agreed-upon payment plan.
5. Provide timely updates to management on the progress of debt recovery efforts and highlight any challenges or issues that may hinder recovery.
6. Collaborate with internal teams, such as the sales team, to gather information and resolve disputes or discrepancies related to outstanding debts.
7. Stay updated on relevant laws, regulations, and best practices in debt collection, ensuring compliance with applicable guidelines and ethical standards.
8. Handle debtor inquiries, complaints, and requests for information in a professional and customer-centric manner.
9. Maintain a high level of confidentiality and integrity when handling sensitive debtor information.
10. Identify opportunities to improve collection processes and suggest strategies for enhancing recovery rates and reducing delinquency.
