We are seeking a proactive and results-driven Business Development Specialist to explore and develop strategic market tie-ups with hospitals, healthcare providers, and corporate organizations. The ideal candidate will have a strong medical background and be focused on building partnerships to expand the company’s reach and services in the healthcare industry. This role involves extensive fieldwork, networking, and direct engagement with potential business partners to drive growth.Key responsibilities:
1. Market Exploration and Business Development:
Identify and target potential hospitals, healthcare providers, and corporate organizations for strategic partnerships.
Explore opportunities for collaborations, joint ventures, and service agreements that align with the company’s objectives.
Conduct in-person meetings, site visits, and presentations to engage potential partners and negotiate partnership terms.
2. Networking and Relationship Building:
Build and maintain strong, long-term relationships with key stakeholders in hospitals, corporate entities, and the healthcare sector.
Regularly meet with decision-makers (such as hospital administrators, HR departments, and procurement officers) to explore new business opportunities.
Attend industry events, conferences, and networking sessions to stay informed about market trends and build business relationships.
3. Strategic Partnerships and Tie-Ups:
Secure new business opportunities through collaboration agreements, contract negotiations, and partnership models with hospitals and corporate clients.
Actively seek and negotiate tie-ups with corporations looking for healthcare services or employee wellness programs.
Coordinate and follow through on partnership proposals, ensuring smooth implementation and long-term success.
4. Field Sales and Lead Generation:
Conduct field sales activities, including identifying new leads, qualifying potential partners, and pursuing sales opportunities in the healthcare industry.
Create and execute strategies to drive business development efforts and achieve sales targets.
Prepare detailed business proposals and presentations to secure new partnerships and close deals.
5. Monitoring Market Trends and Competitor Analysis:
Continuously monitor healthcare industry trends, market demands, and competitor activities to identify new opportunities and areas for expansion.
Provide market feedback to the management team to improve service offerings and business strategies.
6. Collaboration with Internal Teams:
Work closely with the marketing, sales, and operations teams to ensure alignment and smooth execution of partnership agreements.
Provide regular reports on partnership progress, challenges, and opportunities to leadership teams.
Requirements:
Medical background is mandatory.
Proven experience in business development, sales, or partnership management, preferably in the healthcare or corporate sector.
Strong ability to identify and pursue new business opportunities and close deals.
Excellent negotiation and communication skills.
Ability to travel frequently and meet clients face-to-face.
Self-driven, results-oriented, and comfortable with field sales activities.
MBA in healthcare management or business is preferred but not required.
