About the Job
Key Responsibilities:1. Take accurate measurements of work executed at the site (e.g., structural repair, waterproofing, painting, etc.).
2. Verify quantities submitted by subcontractors or site engineers.
3. Update and maintain measurement books and joint measurement records.
4. Prepare running account (RA) bills, final bills, and client invoices as per work progress.
5. Prepare contractor/supplier bills and verify material reconciliation.
6. Ensure all supporting d(measurement sheets, photos, reports) are attached with bills.
7. Coordinate with clients, consultants, and project managers for bill certification.
8. Track project costs vs. budgeted costs.
9. Conduct reconciliation of materials, labour, and subcontractor quantities.
10. Highlight deviations or extra work and assist in preparing variation/extra item claims.
11. Maintain updated billing records and site progress reports.
12. Ensure all bills comply with contractual terms and specifications.
13. Prepare and submit: measurement books (MB), quantity abstracts, and summary sheets.
14. Read and interpret civil repair drawings, BOQs, and specifications.
