About the Job
Key responsibilities:1. Assist in maintaining accounting records as per Ind AS standards (exposure to International Accounting is an advantage).
2. Handle accounting operations in Zoho Books, including entries, reconciliations, and reports.
3. Support preparation and payment of TDS, GST, PT, and other taxes.
4. Help ensure timely filing of statutory returns.
5. Assist in vendor and customer reconciliations (A/P and A/R).
6. Support project accounting — tracking budgets, costs, and profitability.
7. Prepare and analyze accounting data for MIS and management review.
8. Ensure adherence to due dates and accuracy of records.
9. Work closely with senior accountants for month-end and year-end closures.
Zoho knowledge:
1. Working knowledge of Zoho Books (or similar accounting software).
2. Ability to maintain workflows, reports, and automations under guidance.
3. Attention to detail and analytical thinking.
Qualifications:
1. Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Commerce, or Finance.
2. 1+ years of accounting experience.
3. Proficiency in Excel and familiarity with Zoho Books preferred.
4. Strong understanding of accounting principles and statutory compliances.
5. Good communication and collaboration skills.
