About the Job
Key responsibilities:1. Recording accounting entries, including payments, receipts, journals, etc.
2. Processing project-related invoices promptly.
3. Performing bank and project reconciliations.
4. Ensuring statutory compliance for monthly and quarterly returns.
5. Preparing and submitting required information for Income Tax, GST, and FCRA returns.
6. Verifying operational expenditures and payment entries in the books of accounts.
7. Reconciling vendor accounts every quarter to ensure that balances match between both records.
8. Maintaining accounts for Government-sponsored projects under PFMS.
9. Resolving account-related queries by coordinating with internal teams.
10. Coordinating with the Grants Office and assisting in issue resolution.
11. Providing necessary support and assistance to the immediate supervisor as required.
