About the Internship
Role Objective:To increase organic traffic on JR Classes’ YouTube channel and website so that Class 11 & 12 students (Economics, Business Studies, Mathematics, Accounts) can easily discover and purchase our online courses.
Selected intern’s day-to-day responsibilities include:
1. Identify high-volume, low-competition keywords students are searching (e.g., “Class 12 Economics 2025 board preparation”).
2. Maintain and update a keyword sheet weekly.
3. Use tools like TubeBuddy, vid IQ, and Google Trends to find trending topics.
4. Write SEO-friendly video titles (primary keywords in the first 60 characters).
5. Add detailed descriptions (200+ words) with timestamps, keywords, and course links.
6. Insert relevant tags from keyword research.
7. Coordinate with the graphic designer for custom thumbnails with high CTR potential.
8. Add end screens and info cards for related videos/playlists.
9. Group videos into subject-based playlists (Economics, Business Studies, Maths, Accounts).
10. Update playlist descriptions with keywords.
11. Maintain logical flow to encourage binge-watching.
12. Reply to all comments within 24 hours.
13. Pin top comments or important course updates.
14. Use the “Community” tab for polls, images, and class updates.
15. Track watch time, CTR, subscriber growth, and retention rates using YouTube Analytics.
16. Submit weekly performance reports with key metrics and improvement suggestions.
17. Optimize all course pages with proper meta titles, descriptions, H1/H2 headings, and keyword placement.
18. Add alt text to all images using target keywords.
19. Interlink related pages (e.g., Economics course page linking to related blog posts).
20. Maintain keyword density (1–2% natural placement).
21. Update blog posts weekly with trending exam-related keywords.
22. Write FAQs for course pages targeting common student queries.
23. Ensure mobile-friendly formatting and easy readability.
24. Check site speed and suggest fixes for slow-loading pages.
25. Identify and fix broken links or missing pages (404 errors).
26. Ensure SSL security and submit the sitemap in Google Search Console.
27. Optimize “Contact Us” and “About” pages with location-specific keywords (e.g., “Best Class 12 Economics Coaching in Delhi”).
28. Maintain Google Business Profile with updated courses, photos, and posts.
29. Monitor competing coaching institutes’ YouTube channels and websites.
30. Identify topics and keywords they are ranking for but JR Classes isn’t.
31. Suggest new content ideas for faculty based on competitor gaps.
32. Daily: Track YouTube comments, reply to engagement, check Google Analytics for traffic spikes.
33. Weekly: Update keyword sheet, optimize new uploads, and submit an SEO performance report.
34. Monthly: Present a growth report with insights, wins, and an action plan for the next month.
