About the Internship

We’re looking for a creative, research-driven intern who loves uncovering fascinating real-world stories and turning them into cinematic short-form content. This role blends deep research, storytelling, and AI-powered video creation to produce high-retention content inspired by channels like Fern and Black Files. If you enjoy digging into history, psychology, mysteries, and real events - and presenting them in a visually compelling way - this role is for you.

Selected intern’s day-to-day responsibilities include :

1. Researching 5–8 high-quality topics daily across history, science, psychology, geopolitics, technology, business, space, culture, and unexplained or lesser-known real-world events.
2. Identifying deep, verifiable, non-obvious stories suitable for cinematic short-form content, in the style of Fern, Black Files, or documentary-style reels.
3. Writing 10–20 minute scripts using structured storytelling, suspense, and strong narrative pacing.
4. Crafting powerful hooks within the first 20 seconds to immediately create curiosity or tension.
5. Ensuring all scripts are fact-checked, source-backed, and original, with no recycled internet trivia.
6. Structuring each script with a strong opening hook, a compelling middle buildup, and a satisfying or thought-provoking payoff.
7. Adapting scripts specifically for long-form video while maintaining narrative depth.
8. Using a 'Did you know'–style framing that feels cinematic, investigative, and intelligent.
9. Researching existing high-performing short-form videos for reference, inspiration, and format benchmarking.
10. Collaborating on AI video generation using Google Veo 3.1 or Kling, with all tools and resources provided.
11. Assisting in crafting visual prompts aligned with scripts to generate cinematic AI video outputs.
12. Ensuring every piece of content feels like a mini-documentary rather than generic social media filler.
13. Following a content style inspired by Fern, Black Files, and Lemmino-style storytelling.
14. Focusing on mystery, discovery, psychology, real-world anomalies, and forgotten truths.
15. Maintaining an intelligent, cinematic, and curiosity-driven tone.
16. Avoiding clickbait and prioritizing intrigue over exaggeration.
