About the Internship
Selected intern's day-to-day responsibilities include:1. Assist in drafting and reviewing settlement agreements between clients and lenders.
2. Prepare legal notices, client consent forms, and affidavits as needed for settlements.
3. Coordinate with external lawyers and advisors for any escalated cases or litigation support.
4. Research and interpret debt recovery laws, RBI guidelines, and consumer rights relevant to settlements.
5. Maintain documentation for each settlement case in line with compliance requirements.
6. Help in building standard operating procedures (SOPs) for legal process flows.
7. Track legal timelines, settlement deadlines, and action points for ongoing negotiations.
8. Support client legal queries and explain the legal implications of debt settlement.
9. Attend and observe client meetings or negotiations for legal oversight.
10. Prepare reports and briefs for the senior legal advisor/founder for strategic planning.
