About the Internship
As a 'Fashion Design and Merchandising Intern' at Beyond Basics, you will have the opportunity to bring your creative vision to life in the fast-paced world of retail fashion. With your expertise in Adobe Illustrator, CorelDRAW, and Adobe Photoshop, you will work closely with our design team to create innovative and trend-setting designs. Your knowledge of market analysis will be crucial in identifying key trends and ensuring our products remain competitive in the industry.Selected intern's day-to-day responsibilities include:
1. Collaborating with the design team to develop new fashion concepts and product lines.
2. Creating detailed fashion illustrations and technical drawings for production.
3. Assisting with fashion styling for photoshoots and marketing materials.
4. Conducting market research and trend analysis to inform design decisions.
5. Assisting with sample development and production coordination.
6. Participating in fittings and providing feedback on garment construction and fit.
7. Supporting the merchandising team in product assortments and inventory management.
