About the Internship

As a 'Business Research Intern' at BJM Electronics Division, you will have the opportunity to gain hands-on experience in various aspects of business operations and development. Your role will involve conducting market research, analyzing data, and providing insights to support the company's growth strategy. You will work closely with the business development team to identify new opportunities, create marketing strategies, and contribute to overall business management.

For startup pitch preparation and support, selected intern's day-to-day responsibilities include:

1. Assisting in pitch deck creation: Helping draft and design presentation slides, ensuring complex technical concepts are communicated clearly and persuasively for investors and customers.
2. Conducting market and competitor research: Researching industry trends, the competitor landscape, and target customers to gather insights supporting the pitch narrative.
3. Drafting written materials: Preparing one-pagers, executive summaries, and email templates for outreach to VCs, potential partners, and customers.
4. Supporting pitch rehearsals: Organizing and facilitating mock pitch sessions; gathering feedback and helping iterate on the pitch presentation.
5. Coordinating meeting logistics: Scheduling and coordinating meetings with VCs, customers, and advisors, including preparing agendas and follow-up materials.
6. Analyzing feedback: Tracking feedback from investor/customer meetings and synthesizing key takeaways to inform ongoing pitch improvements.
7. Assisting with outreach: Managing investor and customer contact lists, sending outreach communications, and following up on meeting requests.
8. Collaborating on storytelling: Contributing to developing the startup’s story and value proposition from a non-technical perspective.
9. Preparing supporting materials: Creating supplementary documentation (data room materials, FAQs, company overviews) as needed for due diligence or customer evaluation.
10. Supporting social media and marketing initiatives: Assisting with drafting content, posts, or updates promoting the company’s progress to attract investor/customer interest.
