Can I Register for CAT 2025 Offline?

No, students cannot register for the CAT 2025 examination through the offline mode. There is no center where students can physically fill the application form for the CAT examination. Students can only register for the examination through the online mode via the official CAT website. There is no alternative way that students can register for the examination in-person through in-person methods such as centers, physical mails or any person.

How to Register for CAT Without Internet Access?

While it is not possible to register for the CAT exam without having access to a digital device and an internet connection, there are ways that students can workaround the limitations of not having these items.

Here are some ways students can register for the CAT 2025 exam without having access to the internet:

  • Internet Cafes: While not very popular, there are plenty of internet cafes with working computers across India. Students can access computers with internet connections at these cafes and register for the CAT examination through there.
  • Friends/ Relatives: If a student does not have access to an internet connection on their own, reaching out to relatives or friends is always recommended. Students can use their friends’ or relatives’ devices to register for the examination. Registration is a short-process that should not take too much of their overall time.
  • Public Wifi: While not the most recommended way to register for the exam due to cyber-safety reasons, if a student is running short on time, they can register for the exam through public wifi networks. Students can easily find access to public networks at community centers, parks or restaurants. If a student is still in college, they can even use their college’s wifi to register for the examination as well.

The CAT 2025 registration process is as follows:

  1. Visit the Website: First, students must visit the official website for the CAT 2025 examination atwww.iincat.ac.in.
  2. Find the Registration Button: On the homepage, students should find an option for new users to register for the examination under the ‘New Candidate Registration’ button.
  3. Register:Students will be required to enter various personal details about themselves as part of the registration process. These details include a student’s name, email address, phone number and date of birth. Upon completing this, students will receive their registration number and password.
  4. Application Form: Upon doing so, students will be required to fill the CAT application form. It is crucial students submit updated and accurate information on the CAT application form. The details required for the form include a student’s personal details, academic details and work-experience details.
  5. Document Uploading: After filling the form, students must ensure they upload scanned copies of the required documents. The documents required include a passport-sized photograph, a scanned copy of a student’s signature and any caste/ disability certificates if applicable.
  6. Registration Fee:Once students finish the document uploading process, they will be required to make the fee payment. Only after the payment of the registration fees will students be able to complete their registration process.
  7. Submit the Form:After making the fee payment, students will be able to submit and download their CAT application forms. It is recommended for students to download and print their application forms for future reference.

If students do not pay their registration fee on time, they will not be considered as a candidate for the CAT exam. The fees for the CAT exam varies for students depending on their category.
