XLRI Jamshedpur and Delhi-NCR have successfully completed their Summer Internship Placement (SIP) process for the upcoming 2025-27 batch . Students participating in these internships secured a highest stipend of INR 3.50 lakhs per month . The overall average stipend stood at INR 1.6 lakhs per month .
A total of 583 students from both the Jamshedpur and Delhi-NCR campuses took part in the process. They received a total of 584 internship offers from various companies. These offers came from 114 leading organizations , which included 28 new companies joining the recruitment drive this year.
Internship roles were offered across several key business areas. These included Consulting, Finance, Sales & Marketing, General Management, Product Management, Operations, Systems/IT, and Human Resources.
Key Stipend Figures
The summer internships provided students with strong financial benefits. The top stipend offered was INR 3.50 lakhs per month . This highest offer came from the BFSI (Banking, Financial Services, and Insurance) sector, specifically from JP Morgan Chase .

Internship opportunities were available in a wide range of industries. The main domains for offers were Management & Advisory Consulting, Sales & Marketing, and General Management.
Consulting Sector
The Consulting and Advisory sector alone accounted for nearly 30 percent of the total batch placements. Key consulting firms that participated included Accenture Strategy, Bain, BCG, Deloitte USI, EY Parthenon, KPMG, McKinsey & Company, and PwC US .
BFSI (Finance) Sector
The BFSI sector also saw many companies hiring interns. Firms like Axis Bank, Bajaj Finserv, Barclays, Citi Bank, DE Shaw, Deutsche Bank (Investment Banking), Goldman Sachs, HSBC, ICICI Bank, JPMC, Kotak Mahindra Bank, NIIF, and NPCI offered roles. These roles included Investment Banking, Corporate Banking, Markets, Wealth Management, and Equity Research.
Human Resources (HR) Sector
XLRI is highly regarded for its Human Resource Management programs. Top HR recruiters included Accenture TAP, Asian Paints, Bajaj Auto, Citi, Godrej, HUL, HCCB, ITC, Mahindra, Mondelez, Nestle, Ola, P&G, Pepsico, Reckitt, Reliance, Sun Pharma, TAS, Vedanta, and Zeiss . Students were offered roles in Compensation & Benefits, Learning & Development, Talent Acquisition, HR Consulting, HR Analytics, and HR Business Partner functions.

Leading companies in Sales & Marketing recruited a large number of interns. These included AB InBev, Asian Paints, Coca-Cola, Colgate-Palmolive, Emami, Haleon, HUL, ITC, L’Oréal, Marico, Mondelez, Nestlé, P&G, PepsiCo, Reckitt, Samsung, Sun Pharma, and Tata Consumer Products .
Large business groups (conglomerates) like Aditya Birla Group, Godrej Group, JSW, Mahindra, Reliance, Tata Administrative Services, and Vedanta also hired students for various general management roles.
In the Technology and E-commerce sectors, recruiters like Amazon, American Express, CarDekho, Flipkart, JioStar, Media.net, Samsung, TransUnion CIBIL, and UNext offered internships.

Among the 28 new recruiters this year were companies such as Eternal, Standard Chartered, JioStar, UKG, Pine Labs, Meesho, Deloitte USI, Deutsche Bank IB, Diageo, Valorant Consulting, Philip Morris, Firstclub, and Joveo .
