The Xavier Aptitude Test (XAT) 2026 exam will be held tomorrow, on January 4, 2026 . This important entrance test is for students who want to join MBA programs at XLRI and more than 800 other business schools across India. The exam will take place in a single session across 109 cities in the country. Students have already received their admit cards and must reach their test centres on time.

What to Carry to the Exam Centre
Students must bring specific documents to the test centre. Without these, entry might not be allowed.
- XAT 2026 Admit Card: You must carry two printouts of your admit card. Make sure both copies are on A4 size paper.
- Photo ID Proof: You need to bring one original photo identification (ID) card. Here are the acceptable ID proofs:

- PAN Card
- Voter ID Card
- Passport
- Driving License
Make sure your photo on the ID card is clear and matches your face. Also, carry one or two passport-size photographs, similar to the one used in your application form.
Understanding the XAT 2026 Exam Pattern
The XAT exam is known for being moderately difficult to very difficult. This year, it is expected to have a similar difficulty level. Students will get 180 minutes (3 hours) to complete 95 questions . It is important to score well in each section, as there are sectional cut-offs.

Important Exam Day Instructions
